Serbia Flag: Meaning and History

History of the flag
In the 1990s, Yugoslavia began to dissolve, and Serbia declared its independence in 2006.
Its current flag will be adopted in 2010.
What do the elements of the flag mean?

Replica of the coat of arms of the Obrenović dynasty, to which the double-headed eagle of the Nemanjić family has been added, with a Serbian cross in the center. The crown symbolizes sovereignty and the state.
These colors are typical of the Panslavic countries, the romantic movement by which Slavs, all stemming from a common trunk, were destined to find a united community.
