Syria Flag: Meaning and History
History of the flag
Since the country's independence in 1941, there have been many banners before the current one was adopted on 8 December 2024.
This flag was originally the emblem of the Syrian rebellion, and became the national flag after the fall of Bashar El Assad's regime.
What do the elements of the flag mean?

The three stars symbolize the districts of Syria: the states of Aleppo, Damascus and Deir Ez Zo.
The green represents the Rachidun dynasty.
